The Eurostar is of course the high speed “bullet” train underneath the English Channel, between London and Paris, or London and Brussels. This is the most convenient and quickest ways to get between Britain and those cities on the continent. And for no added cost at all, the Eurostar offers a little culture with its train ride for folks traveling together. If you’re taking the Eurostar to Paris, Lille, or Brussels, for couples traveling together or for an individual maybe meeting up with a friend, here’s an extra bonus, the Culture Connect program. Eurostar has partnered with a collection of selected museums and galleries in London, Paris and Brussels to offer 2 for 1 entrance to experience some of the most incredible artworks and cultural images on either end of the route. Only one person needs to have a ticket, so you can take your local friend, maybe even pick up a date! And this isn’t an “offer”, but as there is no cost, just an added benefit to save some museum entrance fees.
How it works
When you travel on the Eurostar, just hold onto the ticket and bring it to any of the museums or exhibitions listed within 5 days of travel, and get 2 for 1 entry discount to all the paid exhibitions (some of these museum regular collections are free anyway, and of course, terms and conditions apply). The deal applies to any route on the high speed train, so this makes for an ideal way to get where you’re going and connect with some culture as well. Here are the participating exhibits:
