Catholic influenced Munich, public displays of paid-for affection are

a look of horror as if you’ve suggested she step in the back room
and raise her skirt. In proper Munich, one is introduced.
What’s
a lonely guy - or gang of mates in town for a football match with FC
Bayern at the Alliance Arena to do? Around the Hauptbahnhof
main train station, you’ll find adult video cabin places, like
the Beate-Uhse chain adult store on Schwanthalerstrrase or other locations
around the city, or Sex World on Sonnenstrasse across from the Stachaus
at Karlsplatz,
the sex video-shop with leather gear next to the movie plex, the size
of a supermarket. Over behind the famous Hofbrau house are a few stripper
champagne bars, where nodding your head in a testosterone bewildered
moment of confusion to the “buy me a drink” question will
cost you the pop of a 250 euro bottle of champagne. But just a ways out
of the old town, and just far enough to be discreet is the Leirerkasten.
The
main street through Schwabing past the University, Leopold Strasse
turns
into Ingolstadter
Strasse just north of the Frankfurter Ring, the
circular drive around central Munich, outside the central district.
Here you’ll find a
former rooming house still standing among the industrial BMW
works and business park landscape, across from a rental car agency and
down the street from a shopping center. No neon blaring signs, but red
hearts in the discreetly covered windows, the Leierkasten has a very
pleasant bar with deep upholstered booths where you can have a drink
and pick a girl, then head upstairs to the room. Like the Las Vegas Bunny
Ranch
without
the
tv show
or Las
Vegas price. Out in back is a bit more lively stripper bar, the
Weise Villa. The Leirerkasten Haus has
its own parking lot if you have a car, otherwise a cab driver will probably
know it well. The nearest U-Bahn subway stops are Frankfurter
Ring or Am Hart stations on the U2, direction Feldmoching. They have
a website,
but
it’s for a phone sex line like all those get-your-porn for free
