Graspop Metal Meeting
Every
year more than 100,000 heavy metal fans occupy the small
town of Dessel in Antwerp province for some serious
metal head
banging. The major act line-up from June 25 through June 27 for 2010
includes Kiss and Motorhead. Take the free bus from the Mol train

perform alongside young comers and new faces. Top names in the line up
for this year are Ramstein, Pearl Jam and Greenday. The beat goes

Quirky
Bruges is now more famous than ever from the flick filmed there,
but the alternative Cactus Festival has been rockin the place
for a few years. Macy Gray, Tori Amos and Regina Spektor headline
2010's three day outdoor festival of Rock, Reggae,
Rap, Roots,
Rai
and
R&B
July 9 through July 11 at the magical Lake of Love
Park in Bruges. Looking for a
fun and low cost accommodation? Check into the Bauhaus,

Right near Ghent the town of Lokeren
welcomes rock, pop, hip hop, techno and world music festival fans for

on the Kiewit Festival Grounds near the town of Hasselt, in its 24th
year, August 19 through 21.

Hasselt is an hour 20 minutes from Brussels with direct trains every
