Kick
off 2012 in magical Lucerne Switzerland. On January 1, the New Years’ Magic fireworks display lights the cobalt sky over the iconic
bridge at 8pm on New Year’s Day (rather than New Year’s Eve).
Recover from a night of partying with a romantic stroll along the lake
promenade. Enjoy ice skating at the KKL Lucerne concert hall next to
the lake cruise piers during the “Live on Ice of KKL Lucerne” – from
11am to 10pm. The skating is FREE, but skate rental is extra. Then find
your way to one of the grand hotels along the shore for a dinner and
fireworks viewing package. Enjoy a gourmet culinary experience capped
by the fifteen minutes of spectacular color bursts over the lake.

A 3-course dinner including champagne and a dessert buffet on the Festival
Terrace accompanying the fireworks. CHF 115 per adult. If you don’t

Welcome drink with mulled wine and pear loaf on the lake terrace, a 2-course
