Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Munich

The Gästehaus Englisher Garten (see also GESUNDHEIT AND CULTURE Munich's Englischer Garten) is a peaceful oasis in a big city. It sits just next to the big park with a babbling brook running right next to it with bike and walking paths nearly from the front door. This small bed & breakfast style hotel is the closest lodging to the park’s lake, outdoor beer garden and boat house. And the very popular beer garden style restaurant across the street fills to overflowing when the sun comes out in the spring.

If you’re driving, finding the hotel can be a little bit of a challenge navigating the narrow streets of north Schwabing, but once found it is very conveniently near the city’s "middle ring", easy driving for getting around the city or out onto the autobahn and the hotel has its own underground car park to keep your rental car under cover.

The hotel has rooms in the original quaint old style guesthouse or apartment style newer rooms in a more modern building and is very reasonably priced for Munich for a short or long stay. And if you’re not driving, a bike rental facility is nearby to ride around the Bavarian capital city.

Also nearby is the popular Scwabing district's Leopold Str. and the Ubahn stop at Munchener Freiheit with it's movie theater complex, shopping and the bus stop for many of the city's public transporation routes. © Bargain Travel Europe
