The Liner Hotel in Liverpool takes its theme inspiration from that romantic sea going legacy. Located on Lord Nelson Street just a convenient block from the taxi entrance to Liverpool’s Lime Street rail station, takes its guests back to the nostalgic glory days of the great ocean voyage. Refurbished a few years ago into the style of the classic steam ships of the Edwardian age, with deep rich woods and brass port holes evoking the atmosphere of the great ladies of the sea. Five color coordinated floors in the style of ship decks of cabin themed rooms and suites. Among the cruise ship traditions maintained at the Liner Hotel are the Seven Seas Restaurant and the Castaway Bar in Caribbean oasis along with a program of live entertainment perfomance shows of cabaret look-alike performers and comedians. While fulfilling its unique nautical theme in comfort and luxury liner style service, and convenient to rail transportation, and a short walk to Liverpool’s popular pub district, the one drawback to The Liner is that it is not located next to the water. Rather, the panoramic view of Liverpool’s skyline is over the top of the roof of the rail station. A small discordant note to an otherwise unique and entertaining place to stay. © Bargain Travel Europe Book Liner Hotel Web Info These articles are copyrighted and the sole property of Bargain Travel Europe and WLPV, LLC. and may not be copied or reprinted without permission.
